Elric in English

Hi, my name is Elric. I had been a volunteer in the tree nursery from September 2004 to August 2005. This experience has been exceptionally interesting for me.

Before going there, I didn't know a lot about this place. I knew that I was going to be a volunteer in an organisation for the conservation of the environment in Northern Ireland.
The tree nursery's main goal is to grow local trees. I think that the trees which are growing in this wonderful place create a very good, sympathetic, happy and convivial ambiance.

I didn't have any experience in working in an environmental field before going and I could only speak moderate english. During my stay, I was perfectly trained in all the activities I had to do.

If the Irish rude, cold weather is invigorating, we are always being warmed by the permanent happiness of people working there: the fantastic boss Sir Pascal, the very generous Colin, the nice Karley and all the volunteers we meet from all over the world. I don't forget to mention the atmosphere of Northern Ireland, a country which is a witness of generous people.

If you are reading this page to convice yourself to try the adventure, stop thinking and go! You won't regret, satisfied or satisfied! The tree nursery, a place where you are curious and intrigued when you first arrive, and, having met a lot of volunteers, always sad when you leave.
